Newborns are usually captured in the first three weeks after birth - ideally between day five and ten, around the time of your baby's first growth spurt. At this time they are still curly and sleepy. After this time babies start to stretch out and practise moving their arms and legs. For first time parents, these early days will race by in a blur of nappies and feeds and before you know it your little one is wearing their next stage vests. It's when you pause and look back, you realise how far you've already travelled as a family.
"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.
What you caught on film is captured forever.
It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
My photography sessions last around two hours and take place in my home based studio in Kings Langley. They are gentle and calm, a time for parents to sit and relax whilst I photograph your baby in soft light using flattering angles.
If you would like to make a booking, please get in touch so I can pencil your due date in my diary. When your little one arrives we can confirm the date and time of the session itself. Feel free to drop me a line to receive a "What To Expect & Frequently Asked Questions" booklet if you would like more information.
Covid-19 Situation - With the social distance rule in place, newborn posed sessions are sadly on hold for the time being. If you are happy to be outdoors and remain at a distance from me, why not try an outdoor lifestyle baby session? Send me a message for more details and I can discuss this option in more detail with you.
"I absolutely LOVE my photos of Aoife! Such an amazing, talented lady. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking Annushka for a shoot with your baby to capture those special memories."
